Take the water fun outside in the Summer to the large 166,000 square foot Polynesian Resort Outdoor Water Park Wisconsin Dells. During the Off-Season, it sure is nice to have an Indoor Water Park because the cold weather would make it impossible to enjoy anything water-related outdoors.

When is the Outdoor Water Park Open?

Each Memorial Day, the Outdoor Water Park at The Polynesian Wisconsin Dells opens for its guests and stays open until Labor Day. It is always a wonderful feeling after such a hard winter to enjoy the warmth of the sun beating down making you feel alive and well again. The Indoor Water Park stays open during the Summer as well giving you over 200,000 square feet of Water Park Fun to enjoy.

Outdoor Water Park Fun for the Kids

There is so much more for the family to do once the Outside Water Park opens for the Summer. Gaining all of this additional space makes you feel less cramped and tied down. It is really makes summer the perfect time to visit.

Toddler Splash Park

The smaller kids will have a great time outside with multiple Kiddie Water Park locations and features created just for them. A small water splash zone is perfect for the tiniest of tykes with no standing water but a raining mushroom will keep them happy and cool through the day. There is also a Water Swing designed just for the little ones in this same area.

Pirate Ship Kids Splash Park

For kids that are a little bigger, they are going to head to the pirate ship and never want to leave. This Pirate Ship Water Park feature in the park is surrounded by Shallow Water with water spouts and sprayers raining down from the Sails and also includes 3 smaller Kids Water Slides. There are places for the kids to climb and crawl while taking over the high seas, well actually just a shallow pool.

Kids Fort Splash Zone

Another large Water Fort area is at a different section of the park. This Kids Water Fun location gives them a place to climb and splash with many different water fountains and a Kids Enclosed Water Slide. This will just add to your kid’s fun throughout the day. The water levels in this pool are 18 inches deep so it might not be the best place for toddler age children.

Large Water Slides

There are a number of great things for the Older kids and adults to do at the Polynesian Outdoor Water Park. Climb up 3 Stories to the Water Slide Pavilion where you will have access to the 2 largest water slides in the park. Each of the water slides are unique and will give you a different experience on your way to the large Splashdown area. It is so much fun that you will get your exercise through the day climbing the stairs and sliding down again and again.

Large Yellow Water Slide

1 Water Slide Built into the Mayan Ruins

Float along at a leisurely pace while enjoying the views around the Outdoor Water Play Zone on the Lazy River ride. This floating Oasis is great for all family members. Grab a tube or just swim around for a good splashing time with friends and family.

Outdoor Adventure Pool

Get a group together and head over to the Outdoor Activity Pool where you can shoot some hoops at the Outdoor Water Basketball or even enjoy a game of Water Volleyball. One of the main focal points at the Outdoor Water Park is the grand Mayan Rock Sculpture in the middle of the Pool area. This beautiful sculpture creates large Waterfalls that spill into the Swimming Pool area but you can also climb stairs on the side to slide down one of the hidden water slides. It adds a nice extra piece of Water fun to the park and also gives you a couple of different ways to stay cool.

Outdoor Whirlpool

Time for the adults to soak it all in and relax at the Outdoor Whirlpool. This large Outdoor Hot Tub is located beside the large Mayan Rock Sculpture and it gives a nice break for the adults to slip in and get away from everything for a while.

Outdoor Seating and Cabanas

There is ample seating with plenty of Lounge chairs around all of the Outdoor Water Features. There are no Cabanas available at the Polynesian Resort in Wisconsin Dells.
