When it is warm outside you have the extra advantage of the Atlantis Hotel Outdoor Water Park to enjoy during your visit. There is really nothing like laying out in the sun taking in the rays and enjoying an occasional dip in the refreshingly cool water. Well, most people who visit would not consider the Outdoor Water Attractions anywhere near what you would find in a Water Park. So let’s call it what it really is, “A pretty nice swimming pool with a small water slide and a waterfall”. That about sums it up.

Of course you also have access to the Indoor Water Park but none of this is really large. If you are looking for a great Water Park experience and the weather is nice, remember that one of the great benefits of staying at the Atlantis Hotel is that it is right between the Noah’s Ark and Olympus Water Parks. This will cost a little extra money but you are in the Water Park Capital of the World, you might as well splurge on something while you are here.

Outdoor Water Fun for the Kids

Well, it does add to the Indoor Water Fun and it is nice being outdoors but don’t expect to find any big Water Rides here. What you will find is a Swimming Pool that has a Small Water Slide perfect for kids between the ages of 4 – 8 where they slip down a very gradual slope into the main pool.

Kiddie Pool and Toddler Slide

There is also a pretty large Kiddie Pool with 3 Water Geysers at one end and a small Toddler size Water Slide that splashes down in shallow water. There is plenty of seating around the pool areas and

Fun for the Older Kids

Truth be told, this is not the best place to bring kids over the age of 10, some even think 8 years of age is too old. If you do have older kids, you might consider looking at one of the larger Resorts. The Great Wolf Lodge Wisconsin Dells is amazing for all ages but you might also take a look at the Chula Vista Resort Wisconsin Dells.

Outdoor Whirlpool

As an adult, one of the nice things to look forward to when on vacations is soaking in a Hot Tub. There is a Volcano like formation that creates shelter and also houses a nice big Hot Tub. Looking out from underneath this area you can still see the pool through the many Waterfalls that flow down the face of the Volcano.

Outdoor Seating and Cabanas

There is plenty of seating around the Outdoor Pool areas but most people find that the seating should be updated and have a little nicer feel to it. As you can probably already imagine, there are NOT any Cabanas available at the Atlantis Hotel in Wisconsin Dells.

The Atlantis Hotel Outdoor Water Park Information

The Water Park Outdoors for the Atlantis Hotel is not a bad pool area but it is not a Water Park either. Small kids will enjoy splashing in the water for a while but you might need to take a trip to one of the nearby large Water Parks to get your fill of true Water Park Adventures.
