The Indoor Pool at the Black Hawk Motel is in a beautiful room with Wooden Slat Walls and large Wooden Beams overhead. There is also a nice sized Whirlpool for relaxing and enjoying the heat and bubbles after a long day of walking around. The water slide is small but kids find it very fun and an added bonus to having an Indoor Pool. There is not a lot of room around the edges of the pool so seating is limited but all in all, this is a very nice pool complex.
The Outdoor Pool is a nice size and is Heated as well. There is a diving board and a small, dual, curving water slide that kids will enjoy. Off to the side of the large outdoor pool, there is a small heated, wading pool perfect for the toddlers to splash around and play. The Black Hawk Motel Wisconsin Dells definitely makes our list because of the Swimming Pools. The Indoor Heated Pool has 2 water slides while the Outdoor Salt Water Pool has a large water slide as well. In the evenings, when the weather is nice outside, the Outside Pool changes over to an Outdoor Swim-up Movie Theater. There are no additional costs for the movie, this is provided by the Motel.

When you are paying Motel prices, you might not expect to get great attention but most guests find that is not true of this location.

When you see the pricing on the rooms, you will wonder how in the world they are able to give away tickets to other local attractions. When staying at the Black Hawk Motel, you get tickets to Tom Foolery's Indoor Adventure Park at Kalahari Resort and the Wisconsin Big Cat Rescue.
Rooms and Suites
You might be surprised by the number of different room offerings you will find at the Black Hawk Hotel in Wisconsin Dells. Not only can you book a Standard Room but you have many Suites available as well. Some even have an In-Room Jacuzzi Tub for those special nights together. If you have a large party, there are a few units that might work better for your stay. The Two Room Cottage can sleep up to 8 guests with 3 Queen Beds and a Full Size Sofa Bed. If you want to dine in some while you are in the Dells, consider one of the rooms that come with a Kitchenette. These are not large kitchens but they do have a small refrigerator, stove, oven, microwave, and even a dishwasher for your convenience. This can save you a bundle on eating out. Pros:
You will probably be amazed to see that the Black Hawk Motel Wisconsin Dells is rated as one of the best places to stay by Tripadvisor. A Motel, really? If you look at the reviews, they have some of the very best, even beating out some of the larger Resorts in the Wisconsin Dells area. Although it is an original 1940's Motel, most guests rave about how nice and clean the rooms are. It is also mentioned how nice the staff is to the guests and they try to be as accommodating as they possibly can.
Cons:
Still, if you are not the motel type of traveler, Black Hawk Motel might not be for you. All of the rooms are accessible from an outer walkway and there is not an interior hall in the whole place. The few problems mentioned have to do with the rooms that are the smallest in the Motel. The Manager requests that if you want to be sure you get the room that you want, you should call the Motel direct to book.

Other Fun things to do
There is a nice Outdoor Playground that the kids can enjoy with places to climb and even a couple of small slides. If your child likes to swing, there is even a small swing-set with 2 big swings and 1 child swing. There is a game room and it is not huge but it does have a few games as well as a full-size Pool Table.
Rooms with Jacuzzi Tub
One of these rooms might not be your first choice if you have the kids with you but if you are on a Romantic Getaway and you are watching your money, check out one of the Rooms or Suites with a Jacuzzi In-Room.
