Indoor Pool
When the weather is cold, it is nice to have a nice Indoor Pool to let the kids splash around for a while. The Grand Marquis Hotel has a large "L Shaped" Indoor Swimming Pool with 3 water slides. The slides are not huge but they do offer a little extra for the kids to enjoy around the pool. The indoor water park is really designed for smaller children to have fun. Access to this area is nice for the toddlers because of the gentle sloping entrance all around. Once in the Splash Zone, there are many fun water spouts and multiple water slides for the young ones to enjoy for hours. At the end of the pool, there are 2 large Hot Tubs for the Adults to relax in.
Outdoor Pool with Water Slide
The Outdoor Pool is large with a number of Lounge Chairs lining sections of the Pool. There is a Water Slide area with 3 Water Slides (just like the one at the Indoor Pool) for kids to splash into the pool. A basketball goal is set up at one end of the pool to add some additional fun and competition.
Water Park Passes
If you have kids under 10, they might be content with playing at the small Indoor Water Park at the Grand Marquis Hotel. If you want Water Fun for the whole family, there is good news. At the time of writing this article, you also get Free Passes to the Noah's Ark Water Park when booking a room at the Grand Marquis Hotel. Check on this with the Front Desk when you set up your reservation.
Grand Marquis Hotel Wisconsin Dells
Located directly off of the Wisconsin Dells Parkway, the Grand Marquis Hotel Wisconsin Dells is in a prime location with easy access to all of the fun in the Dells. Across the street you can see the entrance to the Wilderness Resort. Perfect for small kids with the indoor water park for kids under 12, the Wisconsin Dells Grand Marquis Hotel is one to consider if you have little ones. Along with the indoor small water park there is also has a large indoor and outdoor pool for the older kids to play in.
What Floor should I stay on?
If you are looking for a quieter stay, the 3rd floor will be a better bet but if your goal is to have faster access to the pools and small water park, the first floor is a better option. If you do stay on the first floor, you will probably hear a little more noise due to the extra traffic on that floor.
Rooms and Suites
The Rooms at the Grand Marquis Hotel Wisconsin Dells are large in comparison to some of the other Hotels in the surrounding area. You will also notice the price is a little cheaper as well. The Cheapest Room available is the standard guest room. This room type is exactly what you would expect from a regular Hotel room with a couple of Queen Beds, a Flat Screen TV, and a Bathroom. If you want more room, the Grand Studio is a nice upgrade because of the Room Size, being large enough to have a seating area with a Sofa and Coffee Table. All of the rooms come with Flat Screen TV and Free Wireless Internet Access.
In-room Jacuzzi Tub
Soak the night away in your very own private In-room Jacuzzi when you get either the Deluxe Jacuzzi Suite or the Executive Jacuzzi Studio Suite. Each of these Suites at the Grand Marquis Hotel offers a very large Jacuzzi Tub right beside the Bed. This is especially nice if you are visiting with your Sweetheart and want to have a Romantic evening together.

Pros:
Many guests, making up the above-average ratings at the Grand Marquis Hotel in Wisconsin Dells find it to be a great, economical place to stay. The wonderful small water park for the little ones is really enjoyed by kids under 12. Kids over 10 years of age will enjoy the larger slides at the Indoor and Outdoor Pools but the smaller kids will have a blast splashing in the Zero Entry Water Park with multiple small Water Slides built just for them. Most guest find that the hotel is clean and the staff is happy to help with any problems that might arise.
Cons:
A few of the guests have complained about the age recommendation of the Water Park. On the main website for the Grand Marquis Hotel in Wisconsin Dells they mention age 11 and under. This Kiddie Water Splash area has multiple water slides and would be great for toddlers and kids up to 6 to 8 seem to enjoy it as well. Also, a number of visiting guests mention that the rooms and the pools could use a little extra attention.
